Family business since 1903
The restaurant “Restauration zum Schweiger” was built in the year 1903. After a few years the restaurant was also known as “Die Rest” which is still true for the people in and around Ismaning.
The first landlord, Andreas Schweiger, lead the restaurant until 1952, succeeded by his son Josef Schweiger until 1964. Being located across from the train station, the hotel inevitably received the name “station restaurant” in the course of time.
Max Soller and his wife Marille (née Schweiger) have been successfully managing the business since 1964. The first guest rooms were built in 1972 which have been recently renovated and refurnished with great attention to detail.
Since 2014, the business has been continued by her grandson Alexander and his mother Helene.
Now in the fifth generation we have made a name for ourselves by virtue of solid, longstanding work, homestyle cooking, enthusiastic and friendly staff as well as unbroken commitment to the benefit of our guests.
